lakelizardmusic fall stockholders meeting - Las Vegas!
Vegas 2011...lakelizardmusic had the fall stockholder/board of directors meeting in Las Vegas this year, coordinating the time schedule with Cigar Afficiandos 'Big Smoke'. Not unlike last winter when the meeting was held in Negril, Jamaica, coordinating with the annual 'Donkey Races.'
Unlike the 'stays in Vegas' ads you see on tv, this blog is more of 'this is what happened in Vegas' sort of blog. No one was hurt in the making of this trip, except perhaps Marie Osmonds' reputation. Lakelizardmusic was represented by myself, vegasDan (aka myrtleDan, one-eyedDan, reverendDan, discoDan, whiskeyDan, danPus, danTheman, etc), raceCar, and jimmyD.
In Vegas, you're never sure if it's a sunset or sunrise...
...not that it matters, unless you're taking medicine.

Conveniently located in the Flamingo, Jimmy Buffets' Margaritaville...REALLY JIMMY BUFFET? $7.50 FOR A FRIGGIN' CORONA? SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY 'LIFE'S A BEACH' HAS TURNED INTO 'LIFE'S A BANK' FOR YOU...CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SUCCESS, BUT FROM ONE SOUTH ALABAMA BOY TO ANOTHER, $7.50 FOR A FREAKIN' CORONA? REALLY?
I'M SURE YOU SLEEP REALLY WELL AT NIGHT, BUT REALLY? GEEEEZZ!
I wanted to justify by saying, well these Las Vegas taxes and liquor laws...etc, must be driving up the price of beer, until I walked to Bill's Casino next door, where Corona could be had for $3 a beer...and you didn't have to listen to Jimmy Buffet 24/7. I like you Jimmy, and I've been a fan a long time, seen you several times, but I just can't support the Margaritaville Las Vegas. Same for Margarittaville Negril, JA---most expensive beer in Negril....and that's all I'm saying about that.

Also conveniently located in the Flamingo is Sin City Brewery with a nice outside sitting area, including the fire pit seen above. Two pitchers of their microbrewery beer for $15...about 8 beers...you do the math...compare to above rant re: Margaritaville.
