RIP Swingset
I sure am being lazy about writing on this blog thang...it tells me it's been ten days since my last post. Well, about a hundred days worth of stuff has gone on since then, so there! Gotta new used dobro...surprise surprise! I've got too much furniture in my house, it's getting in the way of the guitars.

I guess the biggest thing to happen lately was weaverFest 2010, held at weaversWaterin Hole, bobWeaver, owner. bob and billWeaver and their respective others threw a hell of a party. When the temperature hits 110, lakelizards throw a party and this one was noooo disappointment. I've said it before and I'll say it again, "when the weavers say there's a fish fry, change your plans and be there." Catfish, grouper, hush puppies, white beans, mac and cheese, carrot cake, fries, slaws...and I don't know what else...oh my god, such good eats.
Had a little pickin' @ the waterin' hole with cocoPop, perSimmons, OJ, and reHarv. Good, good, good. That's all I'm gonna say about that.

Me and reverendDan, we been doin' some tumultuous thinkin' while floating about in the baptismal pool and sippin' the communal fermentation of the agave plant...and we've decided that life is good...grab a hold, and enjoy it with us! Full speed ahead!

It's funny how you mark time...something will happen that brings to mind the passage of so many days or months or years...maybe good times, bad times, happy times, sad times. I built this old swingset some 22 years ago for my girl Tiffany when the lizardKid was born back in 19 hundred and eighty eight. Lots of folks enjoyed that old swingset, but she was rusted, rotten, and it was time to go.
RIP swingset...you'll be missed.
Awww, there's lots of other stuff, but I ain't got the time to talk about all of it...stuff like 'L'il Blue' the seadoo sinking, but at least I got a seadoo to sink...right? She'll be allright...got her fired off today. New realWork still kickin right nicely...enjoying that sweet ride into the heart and hills of Dekalb county. Got new gravels for the driveway...that's a big deal. And oh, what major things could be coming to lakelizardmusic studios? Stay tuned...

I remember that swing set well! Fun times. Didn't know you built it, though. Looks like it'd been through it!
