Fiddler's Jamboree, Smithville, Tn 2010
Absolutely no one goes hungry at the Smithville Fiddler's Jamboree...this was a little much for me, so I eased around the corner and got a bbq sandwich and lemonade from a hometown vendor. Soft shell crab? On the 4th of July in Smithville, Tn? Really?
The Jamboree is a pretty big deal 'round here...these seats are empty 'cause it's the middle of the day and 900 degrees. 'Round the corner, the shade seats are already full!
Even in the heat, the shade tree pickers are firing up...
I didn't say nothing!
Chillin' out in 5 Springs a few miles upriver from lakelizardstudios...sure was a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of Smithville and the Jamboree. Hot women, cold beer, fried chicken, and a cool breeze...happy 4th indeed!
Awwww...one more look at my fiddle...don't she look pretty in her new case? Yeah, I've still got the old case and it's got lots of character, but the fiddle bounced around in it a little too much...made me nervous.
