Well it's been another rollickin' weekend here in lakelizardland. The next door neighbors had a wedding and the world famous Gemini party was hosted by neighborJeff ....all on Saturday. Also, Tattoo showed up for a surprise visit and me and him and nancyO took a nice long river cruise for about 4-5 hours. Then Tatto ran off to see the little red-headed girl and we walked through the incoming wedding guests, up the hill , to take a dip in whiskeyDans saltwater pool.
This all just kind of blended into a crazy evening of friends, neighbors, and folks we didn't know at all. At one point, whiskeyDan was standing in the middle of the road in his wet shorts directing traffic. Party to party, people to people...whew! Good food...the Gemini party is known for quality feeds. Keg and bar at the wedding, plus music by the Straight Arrow Boys, featuring reHarv. uncleH sat in for a couple of songs, not by choice as it was way too late in this day for me to play, but at the insistance of reHarv. We'll just call this portion of music, the Crooked Arrow Boys and let it go at that.

It was a nice surprise to see pitcherlady wandering around the neighborhood. I always enjoy talking to her...and got to meet Stella the CarnyDog. I had to go to her site this morning and catch up...if you've never been there, do yourself a favor and spend some time at Pitcherlady.com. You'll find some cool pictures there. Lakelizard approved. Highly.
