Realwork countdown...4...
Four days to go on the realwork countdown. I've just survived what should be my lasssssssssssssssst realwork weekend at ABC Medical Center. Yesterday, on my day off, I went to orientation (that's right, I got oriented) at my new and improved job. What's my feeling?...well they gave us ham and biscuits for breakfast, that's a good start! Everybody is really nice so far. It's gonna be a lot different, but I needed a change...we're feeling good about it here at lakelizardmusic.
Upcoming in the near future...the "Damn Right I Quit My Job" tour heads to St Kitts/Nevis the last week of April. JimmyD has been researching the island, and NancyO is looking for new Spam recipes...it's sure to be a good time. Good flights leaving everyday and we'll be setting up camp at Timothy Beach. Save up and join in...you'll be glad you did.
Ok, I gotta go struggle through another 12 hrs at old realwork today. Don't forget...this weekend, coming Saturday, you heard it here, a good time, drinking, picking, carrying on: danPus is hosting a birthday party for klosetKaren at de Castle a la Pus (the house on the corner across the street from lakelizard studio.) Wish I was in Savannah, Ga today at the St Patricks's Day Celebration...I'm sure we're well represented and will get a full report when our Savannah correspondent sobers up later in the week.
