Live Tonight: Boz Scaggs

Titans, titans, titans...just sayin' it I see yellow flags flying.  What is up?  Play good then screw it up...oh well, I'm still with you Kerry Collins.

Due to the 70% chance of rain yesterday, we donated our tickets to the Weaver heathens.  Of course, it didn't rain at the game.  Regardless, me and NancyO had a large time watching it and tailgating at lakelizardstudios.  Tried some new rum from Prichards Distillery on the island of Tennessee, that's right local rum, and it was pretty tasty.  I hear they also turn out some high dollar whiskey down there.  I made a little bbq that was too fine, then we made a dash to Weaver's Watering Hole for the 4th quarter of the game.  What a disappointment!  Not Weaver's, but the ball game.  Weavers's was off track as usual. bobWeaver had stirred up a mess of turnip greens, pinto beans, macaroni salad, and country ribs...my oh my!  That country boy can survive.

Anyways...heading downtown tonight to see John Hiatt and Boz Scaggs (Lido....oh oh oh ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh).  You know you heard it in your head when I said Boz Scaggs.  I'm looking forward to that...you know he did lots of bluesy stuff back in the day.  And John Hiatt is always good.

Guitars are restrung except for the 12 string...raised the strings on the resonator so I can make lots of slide noise like a dobro...not sure that's gonna be good for anybody.

Still shopping for a ukulele....and an island trip.

Rain, rain, rain....time for a boat day.
