Good Butt!

Let's see...weekend recap...Vols lost, Auburn won....haha!  Good li'l pickin' party at OJ's in the country in honor of Bear turning 60.  Nice pickin' outside under the trees with a fire burning and a bunch of good folks hangin' out.  JimmyD made it in and attended the party with me and NancyO.  Tattoo, well, let's just say Tattoo is on shaky ground.  'Nuff said 'bout that!

(Taters and onions and eggs and cheese and Conecuh sausage...son!)

(The morning after and the morning before...breakfast deluxe lakelizardstyle overlooking the Cumberland River at lakelizard studios...oh yeah!)

Got up early Sunday and put a Boston butt on the smoker...got it all set and me and JimmyD hit the river on Copacetic for a nice 4-5 hour cruise.  Great weather and good times...just the way a lakelizard likes to roll.  Back at  lakelizardlanding the butt was ready when we returned, and ate it along with some special slaw/salad that NancyO prepared (eat ur heart out Tattoo) and some corn on the cob, and some leftover breakfast taters, onions and peppers.  Lcog joined us for supperage and it was pronounced 'excellente' by all present.  Then we got skyped by the lizardkid and lazy in our new approach to technology.  Good ending to a good day.

Started stringing guitars tonight...3 down, 6 to go.  I'm trying to get back in the recording mode again.

To everybody that's been asking...I'm working on cd's and t-shirts...I'll let you know when they're available and what the deal is...meanwhile, keep spreading the word....lakelizardmusic.com.
