I like long summer days
Nice steady rain on the river this morning...sounds to sleep by. I just hope it gets on out of here for the Titans/Green Bay game tonight...cause I don't sit in the rain for no football game. September has got here way too fast--seems like I just started enjoying the summer. I love those long summer days and ramblin' round. I spent last Saturday with BigTerry and NancyO, ridin' round on his golf cart and enjoying the countryside. I spent Sunday mostly recovering from Saturday. Monday, me and NancyO spent about 9-10 hours on the river on Copacetic, running up with Li'l Happy and hanging out in Sandy Chapel til well past dark-thirty. Good times, good times.

(BigTerry at work in his office)

(NancyO scouting for treasures...you know the real estate market is a little slow right now.)

(Laguardo Sunset...hanging with Li'l Happy and Cap'n Sonny and Lizard)
The days getting shorter makes me want to head to the islands...some good deals right now, it you don't mind dodging a hurricane every now and then. So, if I miss a few days checking in here, you'll know I'm somewhere what ain't got no internet stuff. (Of course, that's very rare these days!) I've also been wanting to get a new ukelele for some reason...and maybe a telecaster. Yes, I drift a little sometimes...

(Magnolia at the O estate)
Speakin' of ramblin'...who don't like a magnolia blossom? Takes me back to the Blue Springs community in south Alabama...a long time ago.
