Bowling Green and Pus-A-Roo lives

At the old courthouse in Bowling Green, Ky...nice monument recognizing the armed forces...and from lakelizardmusic, thanks guys.

I was in BG most recently helping lizardkid get her car tags and title switched over...it was my first trip to downtown BG and I liked the hometown feel to the square and the courthouse.  The folks were extremely nice and helpful.  Met the sheriff named 'Peanuts'...told him to watch out for the lizardkid...told her to watch out for him...should work out nicely.

She had no trouble finding a parking place...

Yes, that's RhondatheHonda in the sheriff lane...oh God...help me out Peanuts!

Me and Racecar decided we needed to head on back to lakelizardcountry before we got indicted as accomplices, so drifted on down to the BG Toots.  My most favorite wings...and a cold brewski.

Toots of Bowling Green

Oh yeah...I got my monthly delivery of beer...I love this...always something to look forward to...so last night I tried a Hurricane Reef beer brewed in Melbourne, FL...not bad with a Perdomo lot#23 stogie.

Good times lakelizardstyle...

I've noticed the past few nights as I made it home from realwork, that the party lights were still on at danPus's party palace across the street.  So I had to call last night to see what was up...turns out Pus-a-Roo 2009 is still under way.  danPus drained the leftover keg beer into mason jars (no relation to mennoniteMalcolm) and sealed them...believe it or not the beer was still drinkable.  Anyways, me and NancyO wound up at Pus-a-Roo preparty one week later party last night drinking week old beer from mason jars (no relation to mennoniteMalcolm) and eating home cooked store bought pizza.  Thanks for the good time guys...you rock!  Of course no gathering of any sort is complete without a bobbing weaving visit from ol' bobWeaver himself...I'm telling you!  It was a beautiful sight as we left, looking back at the 17 empty mason jars (no relation to mennoniteMalcolm) glistening in the moonlight...bring a tear to an ol' lakelizards eye.

(no relation)

Flashback!  For some reason I was thinking about Robin Trower the other day, and I couldn't locate any music by him in my stuff, so of course I went to Itunes and got a nice greatest hits collection.  God that music brings back so many memories and vacancies from the mid 70's.."Too Rolling Stoned"....Glad I finally got to see him a couple of years ago...yes he's old, but he still rocks!  I'm listening to it right now as a matter of fact...it's in a shuffle with the new JET cd, some Sonny Landreth, of course Robben Ford, Dan Baird and Homemade Sin, and a new one by Joe Henry (it's a little different..but I think I'm gonna like it).

Wish I was at the FloraBama drinkin' a bushwacker right now...watching the gulf...good times!
