Catching up on the weekend past...
First of all, congratulations to lakelizardmusic.com (me) for passing 10,000 website hits since January 2009. Thanks to all the dedicated lakelizards for spreading the word, and trust me, a lot of the lakelizards don't have web access. I haven't checked this blog, lizardtalesblog, but I'm sure it has easily surpassed the website, since a lot of people head straight here before they venture over to the website. Pretty good for a songwriter from Opp, Alabama that started this from scratch and still doesn't have much of a clue. Now we're ready to start some real traffic and hit 20,000 before 2010...spread the word.
A celebration of danPus birthday last Saturday...I hate we had to miss it, but sometimes you gotta sacrifice things for lakelizardmusic.com. I did get to enjoy a little LizardSpit (lakelizard bloody marys) with danPus the morning after.

We had a little birthday gathering at lakelizardmusic headquarters for the lizardkid with me and nancyO, opened a few gifts, and then we headed to Cherokee Steakhouse for a nice little meal beside the lake, where else?
Couldn't help but notice this vending machine stocked for boaters outside of Cherokee Steakhouse...JimmyD take note: Spam available 24 hrs a day from a vending machine. Right here on the lake in middle Tennessee. Damn right!
