Grits, Eggs, Catfish, Amish, and PeacePants

This is just to show that it's been so damn cold at realwork that I have resorted to wearing my lab coat for warmth....sure wish someone could make an advance in technology to figure out how this airconditioning thing works if it's going to catch on. I know, I'm lucky to have a job.
Breakfast today: Cheese grits, scrambled eggs and ham: I am indeed from Opp, Alabama.
On a tip from roving reporters, reHarv and Modean, me and NancyO and Omom ventured a few miles north in search of catfish in Scottsville, Ky. Rumored to have "killer fried catfish", this place needed to be checked out. Congratulations reHarv, for once you were right on the money. The catfish, home fries and hushpuppies were the absolute best...and a pitcher of sweet iced tea on the table made it complete. For me anyway...others at my table didn't clean their plates, but opted instead for some homemade coconut pie. I think it was good, but they couldn't talk with their mouths full. I would have tried a bite, but didn't want to chance losing a finger. I didn't take any pictures and I won't reveal the location of this place, and it's a kinda hard to find. But....here's the deal...I'll show you where it is, for a free catfish dinner. Is it worth a 45 minute ride for catfish?...Damn straight!

No, this isn't the cover of the new mennoniteMalcolm album. While on a catfish hunt in Kentucky, we checked out a few of the Amish markets.

Nice trip...and ended as everyday should...with a nice sunset cruise on Copacetic, winding up back at Lakelizardlanding at dark.
Ok, PeacePants is turning 50 today, so I gotta suit up for a pool party somewhere in Mt Juliet. I'd tell you where it is, but honestly I don't know at this point. Call me later, and you can trace the phone call to where I am. I'm sure you're welcome...tell'em BigT invited you.
