The Yayhoos and Homemade Sin
Lordy, lordy...I be lazy! A good all day soakin' rain has set in...makes me wish I had more of an all weather boat than I have...be nice to be floatin' down the river in this drizzle. It's good to relax after 4 12 hr days at realwork. If you can't say nothing good, then don't say nothing, so "..........................................................................................................................................................................." That's enough about realwork!
I've been listening to some music by "The Yayhoos"--I heard a song on satellite radio by them the other day and liked it, so I made a little trip to Itunes. Turns out the Yayhoos are one of the projects by Dan Baird (of Georgia Satellite fame) and is good ol' rock and roll. While I was in Itunes I read good things about Dan Baird and Homemade Sin, so I got that one too. Warner Hodges of Jason and the Scorchers gives Dan a little assistance with the guitar work on that one. Once again, good ol' rock and roll...think Black Crowes, Stones, etc...give it a try...tell'em Lakelizardmusic sent you.

It's a mighty thirsty job being Captain of a river boat like Copacetic...and we heartily endorse Presidente beer...a product of the Dominican Republic. Go ahead Captain, go ahead! (thanks to DiscoDan for the NICE photograph of Captain UncleH)

Where is the Snakeman of Cherry Point when you need him? Probably tending his garden, worrying over them maters when there's reptiles crawling about the river! (lakelizardmusic roving photographer DiscoDan is our featured photographer today...he got this nice shot while out fishin' for dolphin in the Cumberland River.)
I've got some porch sittin' to do...maybe enjoy a brewski and cigar and listen to the rain....hbsongs 948 overandout.
