"Who Needs You I Got Mexico"

One of my favorite songs has always been Eddy Raven's 'I Got Mexico'...more recently I've taken a liking to Irene Kelly's 'O Mexico'...both of'em will put you in the right state of mind...and I guess that's my state of mind right now...hate to miss the Gemini Party comin' up THIS SATURDAY...but it happens...neighborJeff will understand...speakin' of JimandI...

It was good to hear from Racecar today via email.  He's been off on "vacation" for a couple of weeks.  This "vacation" is not at all related to the intervention we had a few weeks ago, and we don't want any implications or misunderstandings, please.  I guess there's not a lot to do in "vacation" but stay up with lakelizardmusic.com and we appreciate the publicity that Racecar is giving us in "vacation".  Good luck Racecar, and come home clean.  The Indian guy at the market is wondering why the Presidente is not moving so well right now!?!  Come on home, we got families depending on us...

Well, lakelizardmusic.com is sending another team out into the wilds to do research for new material.  UncleH, NancyO, and Snuffboy are heading off to the depths of Mexico to see what's up.  You know our motto, if nobody else will go there, that's where we're a'headed'!  Should be a little history made on this one.

O'garden art

Once you venture on into the O'garden, you'll find lots of surprises such as 'Cats in the Corn.'

Speakin' of cats in the corn, mennoniteMalcolm and Jessco are said to be off on a motorcycle trip headed east.  DiscoDan said he wasn't sure if they were takin' one bike or two, but we wish'em Godspeed and a good time.

Speaking of DiscoDan (aka DanPus), the staff here at lakelizardmusic were damn tired of his whining about not having a bottle opener out by the pool, so we took it upon ourselves to do a custom installation of the above setup.  Pretty damn fine by lakelizard standards...me and NancyO tried it out with a StatePenPorter and a Lion Imperial and it worked just fine.  Enjoy DanPus!

Ahhhh, birthday time for UncleH...NancyO painted the above artwork that states the motto I adopted while in Anguilla, "It is good to do nothing and then to rest."

'Nuff said...

Fish are turning the water, fireflys are blinkin', frogs are croakin'...must be summertime on the lake in Tennessee.  Oh yeah, and it's hot...not south Alabama can't breathe hot, but still hot for here.

Comin' up on the 109 bridge at Cherokee.

If you haven't checked out the Zac Brown Band, give'em a listen...thanks to RacecarsBoss for turning me on to'em...
"Got my toes in the water, my ass in the sand, not a care in the world, a cold beer in my hand, life is good today, life is good"...

See you in Ixtapa!
