What are you doin' for Memorial Day?
Memorial Day Weekend...good for everybody who doesn't have to spend it at realwork with the jesusfish/quartertower folks. Unfortunately, I do. But it does tend to be a rookie weekend on the lake, so I ain't missing that. If you can't remember what Memorial Day is about,, take a minute and look it up....then take a minute to reflect. And watch out for roadblocks.
It sure has been nice to have a few sunny days after all the rain. I have been able to take care of a few things around Lakelizardmusic headquarters....charging seadoo batteries, getting ready to change oil and clean boats, working on lakelizardlanding boatdock, stringing guitars, writing the hits, etcetcetc...all the things that go into the day to day workings of a mega operation like lakelizardmusic.
JimmyD's getting ready to go to Vegas to meet our London friends...JBoz is getting ready to grad'yate from Opp High School (home of the Bobcats)...Tattoo is getting ready to come to town to hunt for dead folks...NancyO is still hunting for water leaks....ReHarv is getting ready to catch the big one...NeighborJeff is getting ready for Gemini....DiscoDan is getting ready to grill hotdogs and drink margaritas...Racecar is getting ready to paint by numbers....PitcherLady is getting ready to herd turtles...
....meanwhile, UncleH and Lizardkid are getting ready to realwork the whole damn weekend.

Hate to hear your Memorial Day weekend will be spent in lock up at realwork. But hey-come on....you just got back from the islands, for Gods' sake! Some of us have been in lock DOWN at the home for too long....leavin' June 4 for a few days at PCB, & I am ready NOW. We've got class day to do today at OHS for Jayboz & those other graduates....then she & I are headed to get our tootsies done & maybe a little clothes shopping. We have an honors banquet to go to soon & she wants some new flops for the occasion....I really think she is your child sometimes!
