another year gone..
Good turnout for Hector and Anns Annual Crawfish Boil...160 pounds of crawfish, plus lots of other good food and good folks. Lots of good music by Jiggs, OJ, Chuck, Little Kenny, myself of course, and some other good players that I just don't know their names. Thanks to the young guys for backing up us old folks. And thanks to the large number of lakelizards that showed up and literally demanded that UncleH take the stage again later in the evening.
It's always a little frightening when BigTerry and Bear show up at the same gathering...but that's just what happened Saturday night. Apologies to those who may have been exposed for the first time.
And once again, thanks to the hosts, Hector and Ann, for putting on one hell of a party and opening up their home and neighborhood to a whole lotta people.
I'm hoping PictureMax will send a few of the thousands of photos that he shot to lakelizardmusic...and thanks for the dvd of last year PictureMax...you the man.

Dang, I had every intention of crashing this annual soiree and ended up having to work instead. Not positive on who Hector is exactly but he looks a little familiar from the back. Friend Barney says thanks ever so much for the post card. Ditto from me.

Sorry you had to work. It's a good party and I think you would have enjoyed it. PictureMax is the official photographer and I'm hoping he sends me some of his pics to post. I was negligent and got caught up in drinking and having fun and didn't take any photos.
That's pretty good time on a post card from the islands...glad Barney enjoyed it. Come out to the lake sometime and visit with us...boating weather is here.
