It's been a good one...

It's been a good one...referring mostly to the past 10 days or so, but life in general too.  Any time away from realwork is good time...yes, I know, I'm lucky to have a job.  I've been working on the ol' lakelizardmusic.com website, if you haven't noticed, and added some things and changed some things.  I'm frequently talking to folks that can't find things posted on the site...you just gotta look around in every nook and cranny...there's lots of stuff there.  I've added more links to the blog (blog.lakelizardmusic.com) from different pages in the website.  The blog should open in a new window when you click these links, so you should be able to start a song playing, and listen to the music while you check out the blog.

UncleH and the lizardkid made history in Anguilla as is evidenced in the photos...just a matter of time before it's documented in song (we hope).  Besides the photos in this blog, several have been added to the website...the flashback page slideshow has been changed to Anguilla pics.  The video page has also been changed...there is an Anguilla sunset you can watch that is very nice.  Also there is a flicker search engine that's fun...type something in the blank, and you will be rewarded with pics that other folks have posted.  The other new item is like a google timeline...click around on it and there is all kinds of stuff to find and read.  Takes a little while to figure it out, but put on some tunes and wander around.

Yes I finally know how Brittany and Madonna and all those other celebs feel when the paparazzi just won't leave you alone...trying to enjoy a cold Presidente with some friends at The English Rose in Anguilla and damn, there they are...no means no.

Speaking of The English Rose...while enjoying drinks and dinner with our new friends from Ku in Anguilla, there was lots of carrying on and karaokeing and nonsense going on, somehow UncleH (last seen with the camera) or the lizardkid misplaced the camera, it got knocked off the table or bar or something...anyway, the camera turned up missing.  Lizardkid was pretty distraught about losing the pics she had already taken, not to mention the borrowed camera.  Everyone looked but couldn't find it.
The next day while I was on the phone with Ronnie, the car guy, someone knocked on the door, and when I opened it they asked if we had lost a camera.  When I said yes, they said that it had been found and gave it to me.  They were gone by the time I got off the phone, but thanks to whoever/however that turned out.  Restores your faith in mankind.
