Mennonite Malcom stopped by last evening for a visit.  Turns out yesterday was his actual birthday, so once again, a celebration ensued.  I had a nice fire going in the driveway, so we enjoyed that until our flipflop alert said it was time to move inside.  I swear, Malcolm gets just about as many celebrations out of a birthday as I do...good for him.  NeighborJeff, MsColtrane, NancyO, and DiscoDan  made an appearance to join in the festivities.

I try to write down song ideas and inspirations when they come, because I've found over the years, they will quickly leave you if you don't.  Get a drink, lose an idea.  Try to find a pencil, lose an idea.  Phone rings, lose an idea.  You get the idea...anyway, what was I talking about?  Oh yeah, retaining song ideas.  So I take notes throughout life....as a result, I have a lot of scraps of paper...napkins, receipts,bills. etc...with words scrawled on them.  Sometimes legible, sometimes not.  Today I have a valentine card envelope on the bar with these notes from last night..."hypocosmetologist"  , "dogear sandwich", and "gorilla with an uzi"...
...don't ask me.

                              Look at it how you want to, but I think this car is about to get an ass-whuppin' lizard style!
