You should be grateful you have a job, if you have one.  That's what people are being told, and I guess it's true.  Do not question cuts in benefits and/or salary.  I know the corporate world would never do these things for bonuses and profit, that would be wrong. 
Expect excellence...settle for what's leftover.

                                           
These are prints by New Orleans artist Jamie Hayes.  Doesn't show up that well here, but they're pretty amazing, full of color and imagination.  I met Jamie in Mobile in 1998 at Mardi Gras where he was signing prints.  I guess I have 8 of Jamie's works...posters, serigraphs and giclees, and I like the Mardi Gras good-time feeling they give to the Lakelizardmusic home office.  Check him out at jamiehayes.com.
