Here comes New Years Eve....
In the Lakelizard tradition, I'll stay home on new years eve. If you're reading this and got nothing else to do, stop on by. That's the way we've done it for years...you never know what'll happen, but it's always good. The crowd will be somewhere between 5 and 500. See you there. H

It's been a good people year...made new friends, and got in touch with some old friends. It was great to hear from T-Tommy from the runaround backroadssouthAlabamadays for the first time in, about 25 years or so. Woodham came to Lakelizard headquarters for the first time in about 8 years, to discuss some company business and spend a few days making some history on the river and helping with the barn party. I got to play music with my brother Ronnie Fruge, and spent some good times watching him jam out at Krooners...damn he's good! I miss those days. I also met and got to play music with the legendary Jesse McReynolds...thanks to my neighbor reHarv for that intro. Got my first radio play with "Biscuits 'n Barley Green" on the PickInn radio show...thanks to Harv, Jesse, and Joy for that whole experience. Check out http://jimandjesse.com
When you've got some time to kill, check out http://pitcherlady.com... cool, cool site/blog...great pictures and comments...proud to have made her acquaintance last year.
I was lucky enough to spend some time in Antigua, St Vincent, and Bequia last year...making friends and history along the way. Spent my birthday at carnival in St Vincent with Nancy O...we were the white faces in the crowd among very hospitable newfound friends. Met and drank with another Harold in Bequia, along with some locals whose goal was to show us a good time.
It's late...I'll talk more later
